From The Entranceway To The Toilet

The information board of bird species range at P-WEC
Petungsewu Wildlife Education Center (P-WEC) is improving its education media. The visitors are ‘entertained’ by a lot of information on wildlife in every corner of the centre. Starting from the entranceway, there is an information board under the bamboo trees (locally known as “petung”) about the local and latin names of the bamboo and the bird species -which usually play around the trees.
The coloured and pictured information board measuring 75 X 50 cm contains easy reading information that anyone even a child can understand it. There are five more boards under different trees by the buildings at the centre.
The biggest of all is the board measuring 200 X 225 cm. It shows the diversity of the birds in P-WEC and their ranges. By looking up this board, visitors will easily find the sites where certain birds love to perch around P-WEC.

The information board inside the toilets in P-WEC
Inside the toilet stalls, you can find many information boards hanged on the doors. If you close the door and do the ’nature calls’, you will gain a lot of information on environment and wildlife. If the walls could talk, P-WEC toilet walls can!
