Indonesian Primates are Featured In P-WEC
ProFauna’s wildlife education centre or P-WEC (Petungsewu Wildlife Education Centre) which has 600 visitors every month, provides information about all Indonesian primate species in a gazebo called “PRIMATE CORNER”. The corner exhibits picture posters of Indonesian primate species and their background information on gibbons, slow lorises, langurs, siamangs, orangutans etc. A statue of a Javan gibbon is poised at the entrance.

Indonesian Primates are Featured In P-WECApart from these the corner which is supported by the International Primate Protection League (IPPL), also displays posters and an information board about the cruelties behind primate trade and the causes of primate extinction.

By visiting the PRIMATE CORNER, one will learn more about Indonesian primate species and be aware of their protection and conservation.
